Paul & Susanna Adams
I was born to loving parents who were committed to raising children in a God-centered home. I grew up in Chicago, going to church each sunday, attending Sunday school & youth group, and was baptized at the end of a three-month “life class” in 6th grade. Entering college, I felt comfortable in my faith, though once I arrived on campus, it became apparent to me that my faith, while genuine, was selfish. I did not share my faith with others nor did I seek out opportunities to multiply myself through discipleship.
Through my involvement with Campus Outreach, I gained a greater understanding of my sinfulness and my need for a savior, namely, Jesus Christ. The genuine response to this grace must be gratitude that overflows out of me and into the world. That is why I now work for Campus Outreach: in response to God's great love for me by the sacrifice of his Son, I now sacrifice my life to reaching college students with that same Gospel. But trust me, it doesn't feel like sacrifice, because God has blessed me beyond measure. I love my job, because I feel God's joy when I make videos, lay out brochures & notebooks, and design websites. My goal is that others might see my joy, long for that joy, and hear from me about the Source.
